Is that football itch starting to drive you crazy? Well, you can itch it without waiting for the NFL to start in a few months. The Colorado Ice Indoor Football Team (6-4) plays host to the New Mexico Stars (2-7) in an Indoor Football League (IFL) match-up at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland tonight.

The Ice are coming off a win against the Wyoming Cavalry on the road last week where they proved their dominance over the Cavalry setting their second IFL record of the season. The 260 yards the Ice rushed for broke the IFL’s single game rushing record. In their first matchup, the Ice broke the organizations record for most points scored in a single home game.

Meanwhile New Mexico is having a disappointing season except when they play the Ice. Their only two wins of the season have come at the hands of the Ice. Although both games were in New Mexico, the Ice have been unable to find their way against the Stars this season, however the recent additions to the Ice roster are sure to make a difference in this game.

Tickets for this game are still available and can be purchased by contacting the Ice office at (970) 472-0128. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m.

The Colorado Ice are proud members of the Indoor Football League. All home games are played on Majestic Roofing Field at the Budweiser Events Center located in Loveland, Colorado. More information can be found at www.thecoloradoice.com.
