The thing about these schools is that in many cases, parents need to dish out a pretty considerable amount of money to have their kids admitted.
With that being said, it is worth looking at the most expensive high school in all of Colorado.

Located out in Carbondale, Colorado Rocky Mountain School is both a prestigious and incredibly expensive high school.
According to Private School Review, the average tuition cost for private high schools in Colorado is $15,784 per year.
If you want to send your child to Colorado Rocky Mountain School, you’re going to be looking at a yearly tuition fee of $58,600.
However, that is just the price for students who go to day school. If you want to put your child through their boarding school, it will likely cost you around $71,000.
People can apply for financial aid as well, with the average grant coming out to about $32,700.
This gives the school a total endowment of $38 million.
The next closest private high school in terms of tuition costs is Steamboat Mountain School, which has an annual tuition of $46,000.

Despite its hefty price tag, Colorado Rocky Mountain School offers programs you truly won’t be able to find anywhere else.
A major part of the Colorado Rocky Mountain Experience is their idea of service. Twice a week, students participate in a “service crew”, which can be anything from working at the bike shop, blacksmith shop, work in the vegetable garden, gain culinary experience, or even learn glassblowing.
They also offer interesting sports options, with climbing, horseback riding, and biking all being offered.
