When the Colorado Eagles minor league hockey team eventually returns to the ice, they'll be donning some new jerseys.

The Colorado Avalanche AHL affiliate that plays its home games at Loveland's Budweiser Events Center unveiled its new look on Friday (Nov. 13). The intention of the redesign was to incorporate the Avalanche affiliation while celebrating the heritage of the Eagles.

The new jersey designs are now on sale in the Colorado Eagles online store.

"We feel that this new look will paint a picture of an incredible tradition that has been made even stronger through a robust, winning partnership with the Avalanche," said Eagles president and general manager Chris Stewart in a press release about the new jerseys.

The Eagles' league is currently planning on a Feb. start date for the upcoming season.
