While modern technology is by far one of the greatest miracles humans have been able to create, there does come quite a bit of risk with it as well.

For one, email scams are becoming more and more prevalent by the day, with multiple new ways of people trying to get sensitive personal information from people.

One that recently has been going around is the Alison Solis court summons email, which actually showed up in my own inbox. It’s a classic scam in that if you get over the shock of the contents of the email, you can pretty quickly figure out it is a fraud after that.

There’s also been a bizarre text scam as well, where someone will send you a message acting like they got a wrong number. In fact, they’re trying to lead you to a different app to install malware on your phone.

However, something that has been a point of discussion over the past decade has to do with cyberbullying.

If you grew up with the internet, you probably have been trolled by someone one way or another.

However, a new study has been released that found the worst city in Colorado for cyberbullying.

Colorado is the 12th Worst State for Cyberbullying in the Country

Recently, MattressNextDay created a study that looked to find which states and cities were the most subjected to cyberbullying in the United States.

It’s certainly a strange source for it to come from, but it is definitely work that needs to be done.

After looking through some numbers, Colorado came in as the 12th worst state for cyberbullying in the entire country.

When it comes to total key terms related to cyberbullying on social media, Colorado had 1,021,936 such mentions. That is 2,032 per 10,000 residents.

As it would turn out, the city that seems to have the biggest problem with cyberbullying is the state’s capital, Denver.

When it comes to total cyberbullying search terms, it’s not even close. Denver had 447,097 key terms mentioned last year. Second is Colorado Springs, with 53,751.

This also means that Denver is by far the most in terms of key terms per 10,000 as well, with 1,990.2 per 10,000 people. That’s just a bit more than double Colorado Springs’ total, with 972.1 per 10,000.

What is the Worst State and Worst City for Cyberbullying?

When it comes to the worst state for cyberbullying in the country, Georgia takes the cake, and it’s not entirely close.

They have a total key terms mentioned of 4,571,445, which means that they have 4718.8 key terms mentioned per 10,000 people. That’s 1,000 higher than second place, Nevada, with 3706.1.

With Georgia being so far ahead of everyone else, it should really be no surprise that Atlanta is the worst city for cyberbullying as well.
