Colorado-Based Chain Creates First Ever Caffeinated Bagel
A Colorado-based bagel chain recently debuted a brand new menu item that has everybody buzzing.
That's because Einstein Bros. Bagels has created the first ever caffeinated bagel. Packed with 32 milligrams of caffeine, the Espresso Buzz Bagel is a a bold breakfast choice that's sure to perk up your day. In addition to caffeine, the company says that each bagel contains 6.5 milligrams of iron, 13 grams of protein, and is a good source of magnesium. The bagel shop is also adding a supercharged sandwich to the menu, which will be made using thick-cut, brown sugar bacon, cage-free eggs, cheddar cheese, and butter piled on top of the Espresso Buzz Bagel. To celebrate the fresh flavor, Einstein's is offering a free Espresso Buzz Bagel and cream-cheese to nurses (must be wearing scrubs or showing an ID) who visit a participating location on Thursday, May 11.
The new bagel is part of the Boosted Bagels line-up, and is joined alongside the Cherry Chia Bagel and the Savory Parm Bagel. These three options will only be available for a limited time, so get 'em while they're hot!
