Today (April 7), Fort Collins Police sent out a press release regarding the suspect's arrest, which pertains specifically to a 'clown hoax' threat made on Facebook, directed towards Poudre High School, on September 28, 2016.

That threat was not taken lightly, as 530 students were absent from Poudre High School the following day.

Following an ongoing investigation, Fort Collins Police have now taken a suspect into custody. That suspect is a Poudre High School student, and a minor whose name cannot be released.

'The student was charged with Interference with Staff, Faculty, or Students of an Educational Institution (Class 1 Misdemeanor) and has been expelled from Poudre School District,' Fort Collins Police stated via press release. You can read more here.
