Classic Toy Store Could Return to Fort Collins and Greeley
Toys R' Us may be leaving the Northern Colorado landscape, but that opening could possibly create the resurrection of a classic toy store to return to the region.
According to CNN Money, the company that owns the KB Toys name plans on bringing back the retailer for the 2018 holiday season with pop-up stores throughout the country.
The plan is to open close to 1,000 of the stores in time for Black Friday. With that many stores opening, you would believe that the chances of one opening in Northern Colorado are highly likely.
The owner of the KB Toys name, Strategic Marks, have said that this will allow toy suppliers to have an avenue to sell their toys during the holiday season at physical locations.
The possibility also exists that some of the stores could permanently stay open, with that decision being based on their overall holiday performance as well as the lease at each location.
KB Toys had locations in the Foothills Mall in Fort Collins and Greeley Mall until those locations closed in 2004. They also had a KB Toy Outlet store in Loveland.
Maybe this means some of these classic KB Toys commercials could make a comeback as well?
