Livermore Fire Protection District and Larimer County Sheriff's Office are responding to a 15-acre grass fire near Highway 287.

Just before 10 a.m. on Friday, February 28, Livermore Fire Protection District responded to a crash at Red Mountain Road and Highway 287, north of Fort Collins between Livermore and Virginia Dale. The vehicle fire spread to the surrounding field, at CR 37.

Just before 11 a.m., Livermore Fire tweeted that Larimer County Sheriff's Office Emergency Services were assisting in fighting the grass fire. One residence was evacuated, but no other buildings are currently threatened, and no roads are closed. Emergency responders did not provide any information on injuries.
