As of Saturday, October 24, Cameron Peak Fire has burned over 207,000 acres. The fire is at 60 percent containment, but could face wind gusts of 60 to 70 miles per hour on Saturday, the Cameron Peak Fire Facebook page reports.

Cameron Peak Fire activity has picked up near the CSU Pingree campus, but crews are focusing on containment and protecting infrastructure in that area. Overnight on Friday and into early morning Saturday, high winds fueled flames near Estes Park, just west of the YMCA of the Rockies.
