Brew News: Dutch Bros Brewing Second Loveland Location
A spot that used to be a tiny Chase Bank branch, is in the process of becoming the second Loveland location of the popular coffee chain.
'Jim never has a second cup of coffee at home,' came to mind when I wrote that headline. Dutch Bros, which has a busy location at the corner of 43rd Street and Garfield (Highway 287), will be opening a second coffee location 2.5 miles to the south.
975 North Lincoln Avenue has been a bank location for decades. Most recently, it was home to a Chase Bank branch. With the building being so small, I always wondered what it was like to work there. But, a Dutch Bros won't' be much bigger.
Big News!! 🎉 Our newest stand in Downtown Loveland will be opening officially this Monday! (5/10) Make sure to swing by and say hi to the new crew!

Though they seem relatively new to Northern Colorado, according to their website Dutch Bros has been around for nearly 30 years. Two brothers went from working dairy to selling coffee. Coffee does smell better; so does money. These guys have made a lot of both over three decades.
This new 'south' location in Loveland is technically Downtown Loveland; which the city has mapped out as (basically) being between the two spots where Highway 287 divides: To the north at the cemeteries, and to the south near Barnes Softball Complex.
It will be interesting to see how they've planned out the drive-thrus for this location, as they don't have as much 'real estate' to work with like at the 'north' location.
