The non-profit Larimer County Search and Rescue received a $14,351 donation from Breeze Thru Car Wash's annual fundraiser over the Labor Day weekend.

On Saturday, five Breeze Thru locations in Larimer County participated in the fundraiser with the goal of raising $15,000.

“Our belief is that in order for a community to continue to thrive, it requires effort from all of its members – local businesses, like us, included,” Breeze Thru brand manager Wade Keith told North Forty News.

The $14,351 raised will go toward laptops, training and an upgraded GPS system, among other items, all of which will allow LCSAR to more effectively utilize online maps and improve remote communications.

LSCSAR relies heavily on donations and has been rescuing the injured and stranded for over 40 years, according to North Forty News.
