BREAKING: Small Plane Crash Lands Near Fort Collins
According to CBS4 Denver, an airplane experiencing engine failure has made an emergency landing, possibly near Wellington.
In a tweet from the news outlet, a photo shows the small aircraft upside down. The crash was reported around 11 a.m. Friday, but it is unclear the exact location. CBS4's report says that the crash happened in Wellington, and CBS4's Dillon Thomas has tweeted that Poudre Fire Authority, Windsor-Severance Fire Rescue and Nunn Fire were said to be responding.
'I’m told this is likely around Cobb Lake north of Timnath, east of Fort Collins,' Thomas said, also reporting that Windsor Police Department was possibly dispatched. Northern Colorado Regional Airport also claims the crash is in Wellington.
There are no further details at this time surrounding cause or injuries.
