Golf in Northern Colorado is excellent. We have so many great courses to choose from and hitting the ball at altitude helps your self-confidence as you step to the first tee no matter how daunting the course looks.

As a golfer, the Reporter-Herald has me stoked for a new course coming to Berthoud. The RH reports that the builder of golf courses designed for PGA Tour Tournaments announced that it has broken ground on a course in Berthoud.

TPC Network and Heron Lakes Investments are working on an 18-hole championship course, and its target opening date is Spring 2018. It will also house multimillion-dollar custom estates, luxury townhomes, and condos.

According to a press release sent out by the TPC Network, the course will uphold the PGA Tour's commitment to environmental excellence and sustainability at its golf courses.  TPC Colorado is teaming up with the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program, and will have operation plans in place that practice sound environmental management. The fairways will blend in with the natural terrain.
