The Aurora Police Department released a statement that they've arrested wanted fugitive Mark Lindrud. A warrant was issued for Lindrud's arrest in Arizona for numerous counts of sexual conduct with a minor, as well as sexual abuse of a minor.

Although Lindrud is wanted in Arizona, the Aurora Police Department wanted to release this information to the public because Lindrud is currently a teacher at Vista Peak Preparatory school in Aurora. The school has placed Lindrud on administrative leave.

In the investigation, authorities found that Lindrud has reportedly worked at more than eight Denver metro area schools in his 20 years as a teacher. It is alledged that there may be more victims who have not yet reported to police.

In their statement, the Aurora Police Department wants to assure people that it is is safe and encouraged to report any and all crimes involving Lindrud.

Any information regarding Lindrud is to be directed to the Oro Valley Police Department in Arizona.
