A convenience store in Wellington was inconvenienced with an armed robbery early Tuesday morning.

According to a press release from the Larimer County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a hold-up alarm at approximately 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Kum & Go in Wellington, triggered when an armed male demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned white or Hispanic male, just under 6 feet tall with a slender build, wearing a grey hoodie. The suspect left the area in an unknown direction, possibly in a white sedan.

No injuries were reported in this incident, and LCSO continues to investigate this case. It is unknown whether this incident is related to any of the other recent armed robberies under investigation by the LCSO.
