Today at 1:00 p.m. Mountain the Baltimore Ravens travel to Boston to take on the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, and the New York Giants are in San Fransisco at 4:30 tonight to take on the 49er's in the NFC Championship. Winners from each game earn trips to the Super Bowl.

The NFC Championship Game features two teams built around their defenses, but the Giants offence has caught fire at the right time as well. Giants quarterback Eli Manning is lifting himself into elite status like his brother, and if he is clicking I don't think their is anything Alex Smith, 49er's quarterback, and his team can do to keep the Giants out of the Super Bowl. In they AFC, unlike the NFC, the two teams are complete opposites. One built on defense, the Ravens, and the other built around their high powered offense, the Patriots. They say defenses win championships, but being a Bronco fan and seeing what the Patriots offense is capable of, I have to think that if they are clicking like that again there is no one, not even the Ravens defense that can stop them.
