Are You a Warm or Cold Weather Person? – Survey of the Day
This question really doesn't work everywhere. You probably wouldn't ask people in Arizona if they were cold weather people, or people in the north part of Wisconsin if they were warm weather people. If they were they should probably move. Here in the foothills and plains of Colorado, we get the best of both worlds. That in turn makes a lot of people very uncomfortable for at least a quarter of the year. Would you rather it be hot or cold?
After a record setting high in most of Colorado yesterday it looks like if you are one of those cold weather people I mentioned it could be a long summer for you.
Although there are no Colorado cities on the list of the top 100 cities with the largest temperature differences during a year, the unique thing about Colorado is the speed of a temperature change. We can go from 90 one day to 50 the next, or 25 one day to 70 the next. The cities with the biggest temperature changes throughout a year are all in the north part of the Midwest. Grand Forks and Fargo, North Dakota are numbers one and two on the list.
If you are one who hates change, the 100 cities with the smallest temperature range in one year are easy to find as they are all in three states. California, Florida, and the top two being in Hawaii.
If you had no choice for that "perfect" temperature, would you rather it be hot or cold?
