As if fans weren't excited enough about the highly anticipated upcoming fifth and sixth seasons of Game of Thrones coming to HBO in 2015, now the soundtrack additions have created even more buzz surrounding the series.

It was reported by Entertainment Weekly, that Game of Thrones was the most illegally downloaded TV show of 2014. It was downloaded more than eight million times, just over the past year alone. However, the new mixtape for the series that's currently in the works, features a variety of well-known rock, metal, rap, and hip-hop artists, and I'm betting that many Thrones fans will be illegally downloading that as well.

The guys of Killswitch Engage and Anthrax are truly pumped to be producing songs for the HBO series. Anthrax guitarist, Scott Ian, even took his excitement to Twitter and Facebook by posting a picture while recording for the show, accompanied with a caption of #CatchTheThrone. Ian is such a mega-fan of the fantasy-drama series, he even said he wished Anthrax would have been able to record right on the set. Members of Killswitch Engage are being a bit more secretive about their track, but admit that they are extremely stoked about it, and that it features "massive riffs." We can't wait to hear what the bands have came up with.

Game of Thrones returns to HBO in Spring 2015, which is when we can also expect the mixtape to be released.
