Yesterday (Jun. 24), Anberlin confirmed that two members of the band's camp have tested positive for Covid-19, resulting in the cancellation of their upcoming livestream.

The band were due to play debut album Blueprints For the Black Market in full as part of a livestream dubbed 'We Are The Lost Ones' on June 26, but this has now been moved to July 10.

Taking to social media to address fans, Anberlin said the following:

"Hello friends. In an attempt to be forthright and do what we feel is wisest and most responsible, we must postpone our Blueprints livestream scheduled for this Friday, June 26th. A couple of the guys in the Anberlin camp tested positive for COVID after attending a small home gathering where all but 2 people were affected.

"Even though they are not currently showing symptoms, we have decided this is best for our families and friends. We are moving the performance to Friday, July 10th to ensure the safety of everyone involved."

The band further clarified that all tickets and bundles associated with the stream remain valid.

Anberlin are due to release a special vinyl edition of the live performance, which is available to pre-order via anberlinmerch.com.

Back in May, Anberlin confirmed that work had begun on the band's first new music in six years.

During an acoustic livestream, vocalist Stephen Christian stated that “we decided we like each other enough to work on writing music together again."
