New lane closures and shifts will affect Fort Collins, Greeley, Longmont, and Boulder drivers for 3-4 weeks starting Monday, October 3.

According to a news release from CDOT, construction to replace 4 traffic signals in Northern Colorado will begin Monday morning, starting in Fort Collins, followed by Greeley, Longmont, and finally Boulder.

The project locations are as follows:

  • Fort Collins - US 287, Spring Park Drive and Johnson Drive
  • Greeley - 14th Avenue and 9th Street
  • Longmont - US 287 (Main Street) and 15th Avenue
  • Boulder: CO 7, 38th Street, and Marine Street

Working hours will run Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lane closures and shifts during the course of the $1.2 million project can be expected, though business driveways will maintain access through the entirety of construction.

Work at each location is expected to last 3 to 4 weeks, with everything wrapping up in January 2017.
