The Facebook post from Frederick-Firestone Fire Protection District does not state at this time how many vehicles were involved in the accident. Drivers that commute northbound on Interstate 25 should seek alternate routes to their destinations as there could be a possibility for an extended closure on this stretch of the interstate.

The verbiage on the post states that the extended closure is due to the nature of the accident. No other information is available at this time pertaining to injuries as this is currently a developing story.
