Northern Colorado could see its first sizable snowstorm of the season and the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory ahead of the storm. Snow could start falling as early as 5 a.m. Thursday morning in parts of Northern Colorado.
The Winter Weather Advisory includes Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and other surrounding areas of Northern Colorado.
How Much Snow Could Northern Colorado Get?
The National Weather Service states that the region could see anywhere from two to six inches of snow from 5 a.m. Thursday morning through 9 a.m. Friday morning. The forecast from 9NEWS shows a potential of 7.3 inches for Fort Collins and 2.5 inches for Greeley.
Commuters should be prepared to face slippery road conditions for the morning and evening commutes on Thursday and possibly on Friday morning as well. You may want to allow extra time on Thursday for your traveling needs with the possibility of less-than-ideal road conditions.
