It's been a while since most of us have been in a bar — but rejoice, CSU students, the Ram Band is back starting Thursday, February 11, at three Old Town bars.

For college students, Ram Band Thursdays are an early kickoff to the weekend. With a $12 Ram Band, you get unlimited well drinks and domestic drafts, which as you can imagine, before the days of COVID-19, got Old Town pretty sloppy.

Resuming this week, with a Ram Band, you can hit up The Bar District, Yeti and the Rec Room. But, it likely won't be quite like it was before, with masks, social distancing, limited capacity, and not like, going out with every friend you know and comingling with everyone you don't know.

Right now, bars are still technically closed under Level Yellow COVID-19 restrictions, but these businesses likely have a variance through Larimer County, or are serving food, too. Last call will be long before the early morning hours, at 10 p.m., and the Rec Room will only be open for two hours, starting at 8 p.m.

Someday, you'll stand in that endless line outside Yeti and Rec Room again, but not this weekend... which is probably a good thing, because it's supposed to be below zero.
