I'm thankful. In so many ways with so many different things. In particular, I'm thankful to be able to call Colorado home. From the first time I step foot in this great state over 20 years ago, I've been in love.

When COVID hit, I lost my job in May of 2020. At the time, we lived in the place we thought would be our forever home up in Washington State just outside of Seattle. But in the midst of a pandemic and needing to find a way to stay afloat and find the best possible opportunity for me and my family, we had to move.

I will forever be grateful for the opportunity that was given to us here in Colorado and the fact that we had a chance to move to just about the only place we would move to and not miss a beat and truly be happy. And that's exactly what happened.

Were there some bumps in the road and some rough days? Absolutely. Has it been perfect? Far from it. But looking back on the past almost two years now of being here, we couldn't have asked for a better place to relocate to and I, along with my family, are so thankful to call Colorado, in particular Northern Colorado, home.

So today, in honor of 2-22-22, I thought it would be fun to put together 22 reasons why I'm thankful to call Colorado home but I just couldn't come up with only 22 so...here's 22 plus 5 more.
