Don't get me wrong — I love a night out at Chili's or Buffalo Wild Wings as much as the next girl. But sometimes, a date night at a chain like Applebee's just doesn't cut it (sorry, Walker Hayes).

Thankfully, the Northern Colorado restaurant scene does not disappoint. Whether you're dining in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, or somewhere in between, there's always a unique local (or semi-local) eatery you can hit up.

Plus, new restaurants are constantly opening up along the Front Range. Last year, we welcomed a new Jersey Mike's in Firestone, a new Italian restaurant in Loveland, and a new Mexican eatery in Fort Collins, just to name a few.

As much as I live on cream cheese pizza from Krazy Karl's and subs from Cheba Hut, sometimes you have to shake it up a little bit.
