2 Years Ago: Huge Fire Rips Through Windsor Mill, What It’s Like Now

In the early morning hours of August 6, 2017, a massive fire destroyed the Historic Windsor Mill on Main St. just a few blocks from our station.

It's still unknown how the blaze started, but the feds believe it was intentionally set. The building was being renovated at the time, after sitting vacant (and partially destroyed by the 2008 tornado) for many years. Cursed much?

Two years later, an incredible amount of progress has been made, and Blue Ocean Enterprises hopes to open by Labor Day with Cacciatore Windsor at Heller's Kitchen and the Windsor Mill Tavern.
