GoDaddy Taking Heat for “Inappropriate” Ad

The day after the Super Bowl has always been a drama-fest. The internet loves to pick apart and judge every moment! My favorite things to look back on are the reviews on some of the Super Bowl ads.  I have to say, each year seems to get weaker and weaker in terms of "funny" ads.

This ad in particular jumped out at me. GoDaddy is getting a lot of backlash for their very un-funny, strange, and disturbing super bowl ad. It features the "sexy side" of GoDaddy and the "smart" side of GoDaddy sharing a passionate kiss. I'm not going to defend this commercial's presentation. It's honestly a bad commercial. What I will say however is people are very sensitive, and I find that annoying.

I'm talking about the people who leave comments such as, "Oh my gosh, kids saw this!" and "Ew, I want to throw up." Really? Worse things have happened on Super Bowl Sunday, I think your kids will live. Not to mention, yeah this isn't the most pleasant thing to watch, but I didn't want to throw up. Have you ever kissed someone? That's the sound you make! Deal with it!
