    Caribbean Food Shack

    140 West Oak Street #130

Although they are only open Thursday-Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., you should definitely find the time to stop by the Caribbean Food Shack and try out some of their authentic island meals. You can't see the eatery from the street, but once you step inside the building in which it's located, you'll feel like you've just landed a spot at a seaside establishment, complete with fried catfish, mako shark roti, and mouthwatering Cuban sandwiches.

    The Mountain Cafe

    226 West Mountain Avenue

The Mountain Cafe is a hidden gem in Fort Collins, and perfect for grabbing breakfast on mornings when places like Snooze and Lucile's have lines out the door. Diners can find all the traditional breakfast staples on the menu, as well as tasty lunch choices too at extremely reasonable prices. While it might not be the most glamorous joint, the fact that it's located right in the middle of Mountain Avenue means this quaint cafe still has that "Old Town feel" to it.
