It seems lately I have been noticing more than ever how big a part of our society movies are. I have slacked in the movie watching department, and it has showed a lot lately. People quoting movies, and me having no idea what they are talking about, or even speaking of actors who I have never heard of. It's a quick way to alienate yourself from a conversation. But it also seems as though I am the minority, and most people have seen a lot of movies. So, I need your help... What is the best movie of all time?

Every decade, the legendary “Sight & Sound” magazine polls some of the most important film historians, critics, and artists in the world for a list of the best movies ever made. They have now released the first list since 2002. I must admit as I look through the list of the last three decades I don't see a movie on the lists that I have seen, and have maybe only heard of one or two. “Vertigo” topped the list, dethroning “Citizen Kane.” The full top 10, along with the top 10 lists from 2002 and 1992:
