On May 11, 2016, the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales rode into the parking lot of the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten to welcome the crowd that had been waiting all day long to see them.

Some people even told us that they had been waiting since noon-- not such a bad thing, though, especially when you've got beer to keep you company while you anticipate their arrival.

Justin Tyler and I were lucky enough to climb onboard the carriage to take a spin around the parking lot a few times, something the Clydesdales do often when they're hitched up to show off their braided tails and massive statures.

The handlers have to have incredible strength, especially when one of the horses acts out.  They control all six horses on their own and the animals are supposed to work as a team (though sometimes, they get a little bit moody).  With six animals, you'd think that one misbehaving wouldn't be such a big deal, but every single horse plays a vital role in controlling the carriage.

Thank you to the Biergarten for such an amazing experience, and flip through the photos to see what it was like on top of the world.
