As someone who has worked in depth with up-&-coming local bands, I take a deep interest in helping them succeed.  That's why, if you're a musical artist who aspires for the 'big time,' my first advice is to take every chance you can to get yourself out there in front of people!!  I have been bewildered in the past by the lack of motivation to self-promote, especially with today's resources on the Internet.  Don't sell yourself short by not doing the work to become noticed by the crowd!
