It's been a tough year for store closures throughout the country in 2017, but Fort Collins has been relatively untouched. That is until the recent store closing announcement.

National retailer Gymboree, which is currently under bankruptcy protection, has announced the closure of seven stores throughout Colorado including two here in Northern Colorado.

The company also owns the retailer Crazy 8, however those stores look like they will remain in operation throughout the state.

Colorado stores that are affected by the closure include:

  • Fort Collins (Foothills)
  • Loveland (Promenade Shops at Centerra)
  • Broomfield (Flatiron Crossings)
  • Westminster (The Orchard Town Center)
  • Littleton (Aspen Grove)
  • Denver (Cherry Creek Shopping Center)
  • Mesa Mall (Grand Junction)

Closing sales at the stores listed above will start next week.
