The final game at Colorado State University's Hughes Stadium (at Sonny Lubick Field) was played on Saturday night, but the name will live on. The Rams beat New Mexico 49-31 to close out the 48-year-old old stadium on Saturday night.

Harry Hughes was the football coach who won the most games in CSU history. Now a street on the CSU campus in Fort Collins will bear his name. What was once called South Drive, will now be known as Hughes Way. A ceremony making the change official, featuring remarks from director of athletics Joe Parker, was held Friday on campus. This YouTube video features Parker's speech as well as a presentation to and speech from Jack Hughes, the nephew of Harry Hughes.
