If you're a real Linkin Park fanatic, you may already be familiar with Chester Bennington's first band Grey Daze. The Arizona group was active in the mid-to-late '90s and have made the decision to re-record their old material, enlisting rock and metal vets as well as Bennington's son Jaime.

Grey Daze released two albums, 1994's Wake Me and 1997's ...No Sun Today, before dissolving. Now, they're back in the studio to give some of the songs an update and have been sharing photos and details from the sessions, which includes help from Korn's Brian "Head" Welch and James "Munky" Shaffer, P.O.D.'s Marcos Curiel, Bush's Chris Traynor and Bennington's Dead by Sunrise bandmate Ryan Shuck.

"Chester would have been so very proud of his Son Jaime Bennington. We had Jaime sing along with his father last night at NRG Recording Studios and his voice is great! Sounds a lot like his father and we were all very proud to be a part of it," the band wrote in a photo post, seen below.

At this time, there are no confirmed details as to when this material will be released or in what format.
