The record amount of sales at dispensaries in September hit $127.8 million. September is the third consecutive month of record sales according to the Colorado Department of Revenue. The nine months of the tracked sales of cannabis in Colorado are sitting right around $975 million dollars. With the recent sales hitting record highs in the past three months, it is safe to say that in 2016 Colorado could break past the billion dollar mark. In 2015 cannabis sales reached $996.2 million.
