ESPN The Magazine has predicted that the Denver Broncos will be this season’s AFC Champions, facing the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XLVII, February 3rd in New Orleans. Nevermind the fact that they pick the Packers to win it all. Sports Illustrated has also picked the Broncos in the AFC. How do you see the upcoming season?
Rockies Rally, But Come Up Short in 6-5 Loss To Marlins
A six run lead after the first two innings proved to be too much of a deficit for the Colorado Rockies (45-73) to recover from, as their late inning scoring left them just short in a 6-5 loss to the Miami Marlins (55-66) last night in Denver. American Ryan Lochte Wins First Gold for USA
Swimmer Ryan Lochte is the first American to strike gold at the 2012 London Olympics. Lochte took the top spot in the Men’s 400-meter individual medley. Fellow American Michael Phelps finished a surprising fourth. Lochte defeated Phelps in the same event at the US Olympic Trials last month in Omaha.
