I grew up in Salt Lake City- no I do not have multiple wives. My family and I moved to Northern Colorado three years ago because it's awesome. We hand picked this area because how can you not LOVE living here? I love to bike and pedal all along the Poudre Trail almost daily. When I can't ride, I love to hike, snowshoe and do yoga- many times all at once. I love reading anything by Daniel Woodrell and Neil Gaiman and watching Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Homeland. Seinfeld is the greatest show ever. Ever. If I had to choose ONE band to listen to for the rest of my life, it would be the Black Crowes but I love a wide range of music, including a serious affinity for metal of all genres. I’d now like you to send me your bio. It’s only fair.

Leaf Blowers Are Stupid. And They Are Not Jet Packs.
I used a leaf blower today. I use a leaf blower quite often. I use the backpack kind pictured above because, I mean, it's the badassest kind of leaf blower you can get and I am a badass. So..duh. Sure, I could use a broom but using that logic, I could churn butter and chop down a forest with an ax to build my family home...
French Teacher Ruins Game Of Thrones For Punk Students
We all know school kids are awful. The worst. They're totally unruly and have no respect for the man and his rules. I felt that way as a kid but I'm not a kid now and I think they all need to fall in line but we all know detention doesn't work.

That Time I Talked To Gwar (Oderus Urungus Blogus)
So I think we tend to go overboard when famous people die. We make them way more talented and way more important than they actually were when they lived. It's an odd thing, I don't usually get but I have found myself listening to a healthy dose of Gwar (if there is such a thing) and Oderus Urungus/Dave Brockie will be missed.

Chevelle Debuts Another Cool New Song (Audio)
You know how you always say 'I liked their old stuff' when you're asked about ANY band because that's what everyone says? Well, I felt pretty disinterested in Chevelle's early stuff. I didn't NOT like it but I never listened to it on my own, non radio, time...

The Northern Colorado Auction Begs The Question – How Much Would You Pay For Family Fun & Togetherness?
You know the old saying, the family that splashes together at Adventure Island at the Greeley Family Funplex, stays together. No one would deny it. Don't even try.
It's easy to get caught up in the daily/weekly/monthly grind but you need some fun, ma man...
M.I.L.T. : My New Music Picks For The Week Of 3-11-14
M.I.L.T. = Music I'm Listening To
I'm late with this one. This is where I'd type an excuse if I felt like it was needed. I feel like you have other stuff going on so I think we can both move forward. I'm watching the Avalanche vs. Blackhawks and (responsibly) drinking a beer as I type this so if...
Bits & Snatches Quickie: Short Names, Bro App, Spider Face Edition (Audio)
In this Bits & Snatches Quickie I will regale you with information on a new study that claims we don't trust people with long names, an app that perpetuates the 'all guys is so dumb and uncaring' stereotype and a really stupid way to deal with arachnophobia involving ink and a guy's face.
