Sometimes, it's hard for me to imagine cars operating more carelessly than what I'm already seeing around me.  So while it seems terrifying to let vehicles run around without a human operator inside, maybe it's worth a shot.

We've had a Budweiser semi drive itself flawlessly from the Bud Brewery near Wellington down to Colorado Springs, but also a report of a self-driving Uber running a red light in New York.  I'm confused and fascinated at just how a vehicle can be wired to drive in traffic without errors.

Surprisingly, system errors aren't the big hazard we should be concerned about, according to some writers from Slate.  Instead, they say we'll end up with a drastic shortage of organs for donation!  Weird, huh?
